The Indian Scout & Guide is a voluntary,non-political,social service organization of adults in India.It is started in 1907 by Lord Baden Powell who was born on 26 feb 1857 in England.

Branches Of Scout & Guide:-

1. 3 to 6 years of boys & girls are called “Bunny Tum Tola” . Moto : Keep Smiling.
2. 5 to 10 years of boys are known as “CUBS” & girls are known as ”Bulbul” . Moto : Keep Trying.
3. 10 to 18 years of boys are known as “SCOUTS” & girls are known as ”GUIDES”. Moto : Be Prepared.
4. 16 to 25 years of boys are known as “ROVERS” & girls are known as ”RANGERS”. Moto : Service.

Branches Of Scout & Guide:-

The Scout & guide motto is be prepared which means you are always in a state of readiness in my & body to do your duty.

The Aim behind Starting it in a school are :

1. To make the students obedient & discipline.
2. To make them strong & active & able to do the right thing at the right moment,& do it.
3. 10 to 18 years of boys are known as “SCOUTS” & girls are known as ”GUIDES”. Moto : Be Prepared.
4. To prepare them to die for their country if need be.

SCOUT & GUIDE :-

International Jamboree Report

National Scout & Guide participated in International Jamboree SGSO in SINGAPORE on 16th Nov. 2015 – 22nd Nov. 2015. In this Jamboree 21 countries took part

i.e. India , Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore , Australia, etc.

From India 33 participants attended this jamboree i.e:- 12 scouts , 4 guides, SJST’S , 3 Leaders, GIST’S and 1 contigent Leader of various states.

Among these 13 are from Rajasthan State. The glorious opportunity has been given to the "Bansal Public School", Kota Scout & Guides to participate in this event.

They are:- Akshat Agarwal Of class: IX & Ms. Mona Yogi (Teacher Guide) & Ms. Shilpi Solomon (Teacher Guide).

Republic Day Programme : -

Republic Day Programme of Scout and Guide of District level was organised in the stadium in which students of Bansal Public School took part. They performed a Group Song.

On this occasion our school received an APPRECIATION AWARD for the active participation in Scout and Guide activities – 2015-16. As well as our Scout & Guide guiders Ms. Mona Yogi,Ms. Shilpi Solomon and student Akshat Agarwal (IX-A) received an award by Mrs. Suman Shringi (Former mayor of Kota) and Mr. Chaturbhuj Mahawar (Scout & Guide Mandal Pradhan, Kota) at district level for representing India in International Jamboree Scout & Guide.

Awarded By Governor & Education Minister :

Scout Award by Governor Mr. Kalyan Singh and Education Minister of Rajasthan Mr. Vasudev Devnani.
